2010 Map of Our Block

Spring 2010 update for the map of our block.

Main changes this year include the addition of one Wicking Bed in the Main Vegetable Garden and the reduction to the Bush Food Bed more about that in another post. Here

The start of extensions into the Old Chook Run on the Eastern side of the house block. Three rectangular wicking beds and at least one tank wicking bed to go in here.
Some of the fencing around the old chook run will be removed and the old chook house will be converted into a tool shed.

The extension of the Kitchen Garden into the Dog pen with the removal of the fencing that's no longer needed as we now have no dogs.

Not evident on the map is the removal of some of the taller trees from the garden due to them sustaining damage or blowing over in severe wind storms this year. We are looking into the best way to re use the wood from these trees.
